The Clay Café Brownies

The Clay Café is a family run business that started in 1999. The Clay Café is a place where you can sit back, relax and enjoy a few hours of therapeutic painting while enjoying delicious gluten-free food and drinks.

How it works is that you arrive and are seated. Then you can choose from a wide array of unfired bisque (already made pottery pieces) that are all pretty reasonably priced. Once you have chosen your pottery piece you chose your paints and desired creative tools to help you create your master crockery piece. A huge perk of this stunning activity is that all ceramic items are 100% functional. Once they have been fired, they are dishwasher proof, microwave safe and oven save! It takes about 3 weeks for your items to be fired and ready for collection.

The café’s environment is relaxed and welcoming. It is perfect for families and people of all ages. You can bring your little ones for a party or you can come with your friends and enjoy a chilled glass of wine while you paint. There is a gorgeous and safe playground for the kids to enjoy as well as a peaceful outside patio space for you to sit and paint if it’s a beautiful day and you don’t feel like being inside.

Now I’m sure you’re itching to hear about the food! All of the food is made fresh from scratch every day and there are awesome gluten-free options.

I have been going to the Clay Café with my family ever since I can remember, and I am so excited to say that they are now catering to gluten-intolerance!

Every time I go to the Clay Café, I get one of their delicious gluten-free pizzas to munch on while I paint! This pizza really is delicious and is probably one of the best gluten-free pizzas I’ve tasted. But when I went last week I decided to opt for their gluten-free chocolate brownie and woah was I happy with my choice. The gluten-free brownie hit the spot perfectly! It was yummy and satisfying and such a nice treat to enjoy while relaxing and painting.

If you visit the Clay Café on a cold winter day, I highly recommend you get their hot chocolate and a gluten-free brownie. I can promise you will not be disappointed.
